LOVE FOR ANIMALS MEETS LOVE FOR DRAWING: SOLIDARITY MEMORY.
Pencil Art engages students and makes magic happen!
memorize, internalize, make your own: this is the purpose of one of the oldest and most contemporary games.
With this Memory we want to convey the harmony, the elegance of imperfections and the particularity of the diversity of each of us.
This was the message we wanted to share: hence the synergy, from 2022, with Pencil ART the School of Comics and Illustration. The school motto is “we believe that artistic growth requires continuous stimuli” and the stimulus, in this case, was the creation of an internal competition, intended for students in the three-year period and concerning the creation and creation of a game project for children, a Solidarity Memory, with the dual purpose of entertaining the young players on the one hand and showing them examples of diversity and/or “imperfection”, on the other. The results were extraordinary. An incredible number of Treasures magically appeared, hilarious and poetic at the same time, confirming the power of illustrated communication. The choice of the winning projects was very difficult, given the great wealth of proposals received.
The jury, composed of Umberto Tennenini (president of the Pencil Art school), Carola Ghilardi (Pencil Art teacher), Valeria De Caterini (Pencil Art teacher), Giulia Baliva (president of Un Tesoro di Cane), Cecilia Mecenate (psychotherapist) selected wonderful projects created by the students of the school who, with a splash of color, tried to convey the message.

The Memory are ready to color the playrooms of adults and children, helping us spread our message, and actively involving the little ones to let their imagination fly and keep creativity alive.
