what is Good Deeds Day?

Good Deeds Day is an international social activation event, founded in 2007 by the Arison Foundation, which takes place simultaneously in 80 countries around the world.

THE SPIRIT
The idea is simple: to spread solidarity and the practice of “good deeds” on a day dedicated to this, all over the world.
In Italy, and in particular in Rome, Good Deeds Day translates into the creation of various initiatives at a local level (neighborhood, street, school, public park, etc.) promoted by associations, committees, local authorities or institutions in which all citizens can participate, donating a few hours of their time and attention. Cleaning of parks, environmental education, workshops, tournaments and charity dinners; all initiatives promoted with a single spirit: ‘Together for the common good’.

Sunday 19 March the arrival of the Sn4iFun Run – La Stracittadina at the Circo Massimo will be animated by the Insieme per il Bene Comune village where runners, families and citizens will find many associations to enliven the area with activities, games and demonstrations.

this year in addition to the stracittadina there will also be the stracanina!
